Uber Racer FAQ

Q: The game does not download!
A:
1. Be sure you have a reliable wireless connection. As the game is rather large, it may take some time to download.
2. Try downloading the game with iTunes, then sync your iPod/iPad/iPhone with your computer running iTunes.
3. If the game is stuck downloading and is not making any progress, try restarting your device. To do so: press and hold the upper-right button for about 5 seconds, then slide the red slider to the right. Wait a little, then press the upper-right button again.

Q: The game does not launch or quits unexpectedly!
A:
1. Be sure it finished downloading (see above).
2. Close all other running applications if you are running iOS 4 or above: Double-press your home button. You will see all running applications. Just like uninstalling apps, press and hold any of them until red "-" signs appear. Tap all those red signs to close the running applications. If all are closed, start Uber Racer.
3. Try creating a new player profile inside the game.
4. If all fails, reinstall the application by uninstalling it (press and hold the icon, then tap the "x") and downloading it again from the app store. Of course this is free of any additional charge if you use the same account you purchased the app with.


Q: I was asked to rate this wonderful game after 5 gold medals. I have iOS 4 or greater and when I return to the game, I am stuck. What now? (only version 1.2 fixed in 1.2.1)
A: Sorry - our mistake. This is a bug we will remove in a future update. Meanwhile, open the task manager by double-pressing your home button. You will see all running applications. Locate Uber Racer by swiping through the list. Just like uninstalling apps, press and hold the Uber Racer icon until a red "-" sign appears. Tap this red signs to close it. Then start Uber Racer again. Your game progess will not be lost.

Q: I somehow managed to sell my car and started a race (don't try this at home). The game crashes and after a restart, i cannot buy a new car any more or select another one. What should i do? (version 1.2.1 fixed in 1.3)
A: Unfortunately, you must create a new player profile now. After starting Uber Racer, go to the "Profiles" section, then tap on an empty slot and create a new profile. Your game progress in the previous profile will be lost. To prevent the bug to take effect take care to don`t leave the "Car" dialog without an active car.
